Bequests

Bequests

Jackie Lee and Jim have been faithful supporters of Eisenhower Medical Center. They believe it is important to support and encourage the Eisenhower Medical Center mission.

Jim: Several years ago, Jackie Lee and I matured to where we recognized the need for quality medical care, so we decided to make plans to benefit Eisenhower Medical Center and to benefit the community's health care needs. We believe that Eisenhower Medical Center is truly helping others. We think that it is important to partner with them to make a difference. For that reason, Jackie Lee and I have made gifts over the years to help others.

Jackie Lee: We wanted to do more than to just make gifts. Jim and I have been careful over the years and have accumulated some resources. We plan to be generous with family, but we also have the ability to be generous with charity.

After talking it over, we decided to leave a bequest in our will. Our attorney took the simple language available from Eisenhower Medical Center and included a nice bequest. We are delighted that we will be helping others through Eisenhower.

You also may want to make it easy and convenient to have a bequest included in your will. The language below shows how a bequest can very easily be included in your will.

You might find it helpful to select the "print" button below and print this page. Please feel free to give this information to your attorney. If he or she has any questions, please have them contact Betty Wolf, Vice President, Foundation, at 760-773-1888 or e-mail me at [email protected].

Example bequest language - Please feel free to change the numbers or percentages as you desire.

2. Bequest of a percent of the estate
